Michael Lukman

Founder & Managing Director

Michael is the founder and Managing Director of Gen Advisory Pty Ltd. He brings 20 years’ banking regulation and advisory experience.

Michael started his career at Ernst & Young in 2000, providing corporate finance advice to a range of multi-national banks. Following a 2-year stint with the National Australia Banking (NAB) Group, Michael spent 7 years as a banking regulator with the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).
 

From 2014 to 2018, Michael was the Australian Government aid program’s (AIPEG’s) Financial Sector Regulation and Supervision Adviser in Indonesia. His core mandate during this period: regulation of financial conglomerates.

 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Accounting from Monash University (Melbourne, Australia). Michael also holds an Executive Certificate in “Rethinking Financial Inclusion” from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (Cambridge, USA).

Scott Middleton

General Manager

Scott Middleton is Gen Advisory Pty Ltd’s General Manager. His responsibilities include: general operations; accounting and finance;  and stakeholder relations.

In a career spanning over 35 years, Scott has managed the interests of a wide and diverse range of stakeholders.

Scott has over 25 years’ accounting experience. He is a keen cyclist and member of several cycling groups in Sydney.

Fitria Susanti

Advisor on Financial Inclusion 

Fitria is our firm’s Adviser on financial inclusion and equality. Her role: To examine how ADIs can contribute to improved financial inclusion and equality in Australia.

To date, Fitria has authored a series of reports on topics including: how ADIs can contribute to reducing the gender pay gap in Australian banking; how ADIs can support older workers; and women’s financial inclusion, among others.

 

Fitria has a Bachelor of International Relations degree from Abdurrab University, Indonesia. Her hobbies include reading and baking.

Fachry Ali

Advisor on FinTech

Fachry Ali is our firm’s Adviser on FinTech. His role: To provide advice on FinTech-related matters, so as to enable ADIs to navigate the opportunities and threats which FinTech presents.

 

Fachry has authored several reports which examine in detail the FinTech industries of selected overseas jurisdictions.

 

Fachry has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Persada University, Indonesia. His hobbies include photography and graphic design.

Scott Glasgow

United States Adviser

Scott is Gen Advisory Pty Ltd’s US Adviser and an officer of our US affiliate, Gen Advisory Incorporated.

 

In addition to advising Gen Advisory Pty Ltd on all US-related matters, Scott is also available to assist US entities that have an interest in the Australian banking sector.

 

Scott is concurrently the founder and Managing Director of FinMango, a US 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation. FinMango’s mission: To address economic inequality through opportunity.

 

Scott has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Malone University (Ohio) and a Masters in Financial Economics from Kent State University (Ohio). Scott also has an Executive Certificate in “Rethinking Financial Inclusion” from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (Cambridge).

 

Scott is a TEDx speaker. His hobbies include yoga and tennis.
